Brokerages

Digital agencies for UK brokerages

More enquiries are useful when they lead to worthwhile conversations and progress towards a deal. Agency Network Solutions helps establish whether your brokerage needs better visibility, earlier qualification or less manual follow-up, then assesses which specialist agency could help. The assessment and introduction are free to your firm.

Start with the constraint

What is holding progress back?

We turn the clearest constraint into an agency brief.
  1. 01
Too few suitable enquiriesEstablish whether visibility or proposition is the constraint.
  2. 02
Slow initial qualificationCollect useful information without replacing broker judgement.
  3. 03
Viable cases keep stallingMap document requests, follow-up and external dependencies.
You do not need to decide whether the answer is search, a website or automation before you enquire.

The decision

Find the point where viable enquiries stop progressing.

An enquiry total cannot show you how much broker time was spent establishing a poor fit, or why a promising deal stalled after the first conversation. Before buying more traffic, trace what happens to an enquiry. If suitable prospects are scarce, acquisition may be the issue. If they arrive but cannot progress, the more useful brief may concern qualification or document handling.

How we help

Follow the enquiry through the transaction.

This sequence describes the questions to investigate. It is not a promised software system.

  1. 01

    Enquiry

Is the right person finding you?

Which services the site explains, where enquiries come from and what information is missing at entry.

  2. 02

    Qualification

Can you establish an initial fit sooner?

Which information helps route an enquiry and which judgements must remain with a broker.

  3. 03

    Documents

    Who is waiting for what?

How requests are issued, how completion is recorded and when a person needs to intervene.

  4. 04

    Progression

    Where do viable cases stall?

Which delays sit inside the brokerage's process and which depend on clients, counterparties or other organisations.

The type of brokerage changes the brief.

Business brokerage
Confidential buyer and seller information shapes how enquiries are handled and what can be published about transactions. Qualification should support a broker's assessment rather than expose sensitive deal information.
Insurance brokerage
Product scope and insurer or network arrangements affect the customer journey. Establish the relevant permissions and communication requirements before changing qualification or promotional content.
Mortgage brokerage
Affordability information, lender requirements and network processes can affect what is collected and when. Early routing must not be presented as an automated lending decision or a guarantee of eligibility.

Where Financial Conduct Authority requirements apply, the brief must reflect them. The requirements of a business sale and a regulated mortgage or insurance enquiry should not be treated as interchangeable.

Why use a specialist

Assess broker time alongside enquiry quality.

Better qualification may reduce time spent on unsuitable enquiries. Clear document requests may help viable cases progress. Neither removes the need for professional judgement or guarantees completion. The useful proposal identifies a specific delay, a baseline and how the work will be assessed.

If the brokerage cannot yet see where cases stall, establish that before commissioning an automation project. If suitable enquiries are genuinely scarce, the recommendation should address visibility rather than automate a process with too little demand.

How we assess the fit

What we check before recommending anyone.

The assessment is complete without relying on figures that are not cleared for publication.

The brief
The point in the enquiry-to-deal journey that needs attention.
Sector context
The type of broking, transaction confidentiality and applicable requirements.
Delivery evidence
Relevant qualification or operational work, with clear limits on transfer between brokerage types.
Commercial fit
Integration feasibility, ownership of the process and a scope the brokerage can assess.

The opening conversation

Where is broker time being lost?

  1. 01

How much of the week goes on enquiries that were never going to transact?

  2. 02

Where do deals stall: at enquiry, mid-process or at completion?

  3. 03

What happens to a document request today, and who chases it?

The introduction process

What happens when you come to us.

  1. 01

    Initial conversation

You can reach us through the website or a referral, or we may have contacted your firm directly. There is no brief to prepare at this point; start with what you would like to change.

  2. 02

Introduction call, with a review prepared in advance

Before the call, we review the information available about your firm and prepare the points to explore. The conversation covers how Agency Network Solutions works and how we are paid, then the requirement itself.

For a brokerage, we inspect the public enquiry journey and use the call to map how qualification and document requests are handled behind it.

  3. 03

A considered introduction to one specialist agency

If there is a suitable fit, we explain the recommendation and make one introduction. The specialist's initial assessment, at no cost and no obligation, sets out the proposed scope, what the work would cost and how it would be measured. A separate detailed audit or delivery project may be chargeable; its terms are agreed with the agency.

  4. 04

You decide whether to go ahead

Nothing in the assessment or introduction commits you to paid work. You can decide not to proceed after meeting the specialist. If you do go ahead, you agree scope and price directly with the agency; Agency Network Solutions is not a party to that contract. Our service remains free to your firm. The agency's own work is priced separately.

Clear about who pays

Free to your firm.

The agency pays us, and only once an introduction turns into a working relationship. That is deliberate. We are not paid for making introductions, we are paid for making good ones.

What that buys you

Recommending the wrong specialist costs us money and costs us the reputation that makes the next recommendation worth anything.

Why a directory cannot say it

A directory is paid the moment a listing goes up. Nothing that happens afterwards changes what it earned.

Questions before you enquire

What firms in this sector ask first.

Do you cover business, insurance and mortgage brokerages?

These are the brokerage types this page covers. The assessment starts with your specific activity and constraints. An introduction depends on finding an agency whose experience fits that brief.

What if we need more enquiries, rather than better qualification?

Then the brief should address demand and visibility. We would not assume that administration is the problem simply because automation is available.

Can enquiry qualification replace a broker's judgement?

No. Initial information can help organise and route enquiries. Advice, suitability and other professional judgements need to remain with the appropriately responsible people and processes.

Can document chasing work with our current systems?

That needs an integration review. The specialist should establish the existing workflow, access controls and handling of confidential information before proposing how requests or reminders would work.

What evidence would you look for before an introduction?

We would look for work relevant to the proposed discipline and assess whether it transfers to your type of brokerage. Experience in business broking alone does not establish suitability for regulated mortgage or insurance work.
